Neptune Cruise Phinisi is a forty-metre, two-masted phinisi sailing Komodo National Park out of Labuan Bajo, with seven en-suite cabins and a maximum of twenty guests.
She is owner-held and run by its own dedicated charter desk — not chartered in, not brokered. The crew is employed directly, the vessel is maintained in-house against a published twelve-point quality standard, and bookings are handled by the operator rather than an agent.
The vessel
Built on a hull form older than the country
The phinisi is the working schooner of the Bugis and Konjo shipwrights of South Sulawesi, shaped by eye and without plans for generations. Neptune is that hull built to modern liveaboard standards.
Three decks, seven cabins, satellite Wi-Fi, a dive deck at the waterline, and an open sundeck the length of the boat — sized so that twenty guests never queue for anything.

the charter desk — the vessel charter company — has been running boats out of Labuan Bajo since 2015 and is, Hong Kong CR 80295893.
It owns and crews nine vessels in-house and contracts the rest of its fleet under the same published standard. Neptune is one of the owned hulls, which is why the crew, the maintenance schedule and the booking desk are all the same company.
