Neptune Cruise sells two ways. Shared 3D2N cabins are priced per person: USD 610 Deluxe, USD 730 Junior Suite, USD 850 Premium Mansard. Private charter takes the whole 40-metre boat for up to 20 guests, from USD 8,900 (2D1N) to USD 20,950 (7D6N). Park fees are paid separately.
Shared cabin rates – 3D2N
| Cabin | Deck | Rate per person | Additional person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium Mansard I & II | Top deck | USD 850 | USD 410 |
| Junior Suite | Main deck | USD 730 | USD 410 |
| Deluxe Cabin | Lower deck | USD 610 | USD 310 |
The additional-person rate applies when a cabin takes a further guest beyond the standard occupancy of its queen bed. All three cabin types are en-suite with a warm shower and air conditioning; the difference is deck, outlook and whether you have a private balcony. The cabins and deck plan explains which room suits which traveller.
Private charter rates – whole boat
| Duration | Whole-boat rate | Additional person |
|---|---|---|
| 2D1N | USD 8,900 | USD 500 |
| 3D2N | USD 11,450 | USD 500 |
| 4D3N | USD 14,000 | USD 500 |
| 5D4N | USD 16,550 | USD 550 |
| 6D5N | USD 19,050 | USD 550 |
| 7D6N | USD 20,950 | USD 550 |
Every charter duration covers the entire vessel with up to 20 guests and a departure date you choose. The additional-person rate steps from USD 500 to USD 550 at 5D4N. Per-person arithmetic at different group sizes is worked through on the group charter page.
What every rate includes
- Accommodation on board in your chosen cabin
- All meals throughout the cruise
- Mineral water, coffee and tea
- English-speaking guide
- Snorkelling equipment and life vests
- Pick-up and drop-off on the Labuan Bajo mainland
- Premium documentation – drone, GoPro and mirrorless coverage
Two of those deserve a sentence. The English-speaking guide is on board for the whole trip, not just the ranger stations, and handles briefings, snorkel supervision and the logistics on land. The documentation package – drone, GoPro and mirrorless – is shot by the crew and shared after the trip; it is included rather than an upsell, which is unusual in this bracket. Note that flying a drone inside the national park still requires the separate permit listed below.
What the rate does not include
- Flights to and from Labuan Bajo
- Komodo National Park entrance and activity fees
- Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks
- Personal expenses and snacks
- Drone permit, approximately IDR 2.1 million per unit per day
- Crew gratuities, which are optional
On park fees, we would rather be accurate than convenient.
Komodo National Park charges are billed as separate components – an entrance ticket that differs for
foreign and domestic visitors and rises on Sundays and public holidays, a ranger or trekking fee usually
charged per ranger per group, a snorkelling fee per person per day, a higher diving fee per diver per day,
a conservation and insurance levy, a harbour fee, and camera or drone permits. Traveller and operator
reports through 2025 cluster around IDR 250,000–350,000 per person per day for the combined park
charges on a liveaboard, plus a port fee of roughly IDR 25,000–50,000; one documented 2025 liveaboard
account came to about IDR 275,000 per day plus a IDR 25,000 port fee. Those are reported figures,
not an official published tariff, they are paid in cash in rupiah on site, and the park authority can change
them at any time. Ask our reservations team for the current amounts before you travel.
The drone permit figure above – approximately IDR 2.1 million per unit per day – is our own published exclusion, and it applies to guest drones flown inside the park. Written permission from the park authority is required in addition to the fee.

Season and what it does to availability
Rates above are the operator’s published figures. What changes with the calendar is availability and, on shared trips, promotional pricing. June to September is the dry peak: sunny, windy, busiest, and worth booking one to two months ahead. April to May and October to November are shoulder months with green islands and fewer boats, and operators commonly discount shared departures in this window – reported reductions run to around 30 per cent below peak, though the number varies by operator and date. December to March brings rain, rougher seas and occasional cancellations, with Christmas and New Year still spiking demand.
Paying and holding a date
The sequence is: enquiry with dates and guest numbers, availability check, a provisional hold on your dates, a deposit to confirm, then the balance before departure. Cancellation and amendment terms depend on season and lead time and are issued in writing with your quote – we do not publish a blanket policy here because it would be wrong for half the bookings it applied to. All bookings are handled through official reservations, and confirmations, invoices and receipts come from Komodo Luxury, the operator of this vessel.

What is the cheapest way to sail Komodo on Neptune Cruise?
A Deluxe cabin on a shared 3D2N departure at USD 610 per person. It has the same en-suite bathroom and air conditioning as every other cabin, and it is the steadiest berth on the boat.
Are national park fees included?
No. Park entrance, ranger, snorkelling, diving, conservation and harbour charges are separate, paid in cash in rupiah on site, and set by the park authority. Reported 2025 totals cluster around IDR 250,000–350,000 per person per day, plus a port fee of roughly IDR 25,000–50,000.
Is alcohol included?
No. Alcoholic and soft drinks are excluded. Groups often bring their own; tell us in advance so the crew can arrange chilling and glassware.
What does the additional-person rate cover?
An extra guest sharing a cabin beyond its standard occupancy. It is USD 410 for a Premium Mansard or Junior Suite and USD 310 for a Deluxe on shared 3D2N trips, and USD 500 or USD 550 on charters depending on duration.
Do you charge extra for the photo and video package?
No. Drone, GoPro and mirrorless documentation by the crew is included in the rate. Flying your own drone inside the park needs a permit at approximately IDR 2.1 million per unit per day.
Can we pay in rupiah?
Rates are published in US dollars. Payment methods and currency are confirmed with your quote; park fees on site must be paid in cash in rupiah regardless.
Are prices lower in the shoulder season?
Shared trips are commonly discounted in April, May, October and November, with reported reductions of up to around 30 per cent below peak. Ask us what is live for your dates rather than assuming a fixed discount.
