Three days, two nights, the whole park
The 3D2N is the departure most guests take, and the one the route was designed around. It fits the park’s three headline stops — Padar, the dragons, and Manta Point — into a schedule that still leaves time in the water.
Shared cabins run USD 610 to USD 850 per person. Taking the whole boat over the same three days is USD 11,450.

How the three days run
Order shifts with tide, weather and where the mantas are. The shape of the days does not.
01Day one
Out of Labuan Bajo
Board at the harbour late morning, lunch under way, then the first sheltered stops as the town drops astern. The afternoon is for settling in and the first swim; the night is spent at anchor.

02Day two
Padar before sunrise, dragons after breakfast
The early start is the point of the day. Padar’s ridge is twenty minutes of cut steps and it is empty at first light. Breakfast happens back on board, then a ranger-led walk among the dragons and an afternoon in the water.

03Day three
Mantas, the sandbar, and back
A last snorkel at Manta Point on the morning tide, the sandbar at Taka Makassar if the water is low enough to walk it, then the run back into Labuan Bajo in time for afternoon flights.

Sunset
The bit nobody puts in the itinerary
Kalong Island sits on the way back toward Labuan Bajo, and at dusk the mangroves empty: thousands of flying foxes crossing the channel in a line that takes twenty minutes to pass.
It is the one stop guests remember without being told to. Bring nothing but a drink and stay on the sundeck.

About the 3D2N
What time does it start and finish?
Boarding is late morning on day one at Labuan Bajo harbour, and you are back alongside on day three in time for afternoon flights. Do not book a morning flight out on day three.
Is Padar hard?
It is around twenty minutes on cut steps, in the dark, before sunrise. Reasonable fitness and a head torch, not hiking experience.
Will we definitely see mantas?
Manta Point is a feeding and cleaning station and sightings are common year-round, with the best odds between December and February. No operator can promise wild animals.
What about park fees?
Paid in cash on the day, separately from the fare. They vary by nationality, by day of the week, and by activity — snorkelling, diving and trekking are charged differently.
