Neptune Cruise takes group charters of up to 20 guests across seven en-suite cabins on a 40-metre phinisi. One price covers the whole vessel: USD 8,900 for 2D1N through USD 20,950 for 7D6N, with additional guests at USD 500–550 and departure dates you choose.
One boat, one price, your dates
Group travel in Komodo usually breaks down over logistics rather than money. Splitting fourteen people across two smaller boats means two schedules, two dinner tables and half the group missing the moment the other half is talking about. A whole-boat charter removes that problem: 20 berths, seven cabins, one crew, one itinerary.
The vessel is VIP class, 40 m by 8 m across three decks, powered by a W Marine 8D16 engine at 6 to 10 knots, with 10,000 litres of fresh water, satellite Wi-Fi, a dive deck, indoor and outdoor dining, a sundeck, a lounge and a bar and karaoke lounge. It sails from Labuan Bajo, and mainland pick-up and drop-off are included.

The additional-person rate steps from USD 500 to USD 550 at the 5D4N duration. Everything at or below 4D3N charges USD 500 per extra guest; 5D4N, 6D5N and 7D6N charge USD 550. Base rates cover the whole boat regardless of how many cabins you actually fill.

These are simple divisions of the published charter rate and exclude park fees, flights, alcohol and permits. They are meant for comparison, not as a quote. The crossover point is usually around fourteen guests: below that, shared cabins are cheaper; above it, chartering wins on both price and privacy. How 20 guests fit across seven cabins
Seven cabins with queen beds sleep fourteen guests two to a room. Reaching twenty means adding extra berths in cabins that can take them, which is what the additional-person rate covers. Practically, groups of 14 to 16 are the sweet spot: everyone has a proper bed and the decks never feel crowded. If your group is closer to twenty, tell us the composition early so the allocation is settled before deposits move.
Corporate, incentive and celebration charters
Corporate and incentive. The indoor dining room doubles as a meeting space and the sundeck works for briefings. Be realistic about connectivity: satellite Wi-Fi is messaging-grade, so plan for offline sessions and do not schedule a live video call from Manta Point. Most groups treat the disconnection as the point.
Celebrations. Birthdays, anniversaries and small wedding parties work well on the sundeck. With notice the crew can arrange decoration, a cake and a set-up for a private dinner. What we will not do is promise a licensed ceremony, fireworks or anything requiring permits inside the national park that we cannot obtain.
Dive groups. The boat is dive-friendly with a dive deck, not a dive centre with its own instructors. Dive services are arranged with partners and confirmed at booking, and groups wanting the northern pinnacles should read the 4D3N itinerary.
Logistics we handle, and what you handle
Included: accommodation, all meals, mineral water, coffee and tea, an English-speaking guide, snorkelling equipment and life vests, Labuan Bajo mainland transfers, and drone, GoPro and mirrorless documentation of the trip.
Not included: flights to and from Labuan Bajo, Komodo National Park fees, alcoholic and soft drinks, personal expenses and snacks, the drone permit at approximately IDR 2.1 million per unit per day, and optional crew gratuities. Groups bringing their own alcohol should tell us in advance so the crew can arrange chilling and glassware. Dietary requirements – vegetarian, halal, allergies – are handled by the galley with notice.
On park fees, we would rather be accurate than convenient.
Komodo National Park charges are billed as separate components – an entrance ticket that differs for
foreign and domestic visitors and rises on Sundays and public holidays, a ranger or trekking fee usually
charged per ranger per group, a snorkelling fee per person per day, a higher diving fee per diver per day,
a conservation and insurance levy, a harbour fee, and camera or drone permits. Traveller and operator
reports through 2025 cluster around IDR 250,000–350,000 per person per day for the combined park
charges on a liveaboard, plus a port fee of roughly IDR 25,000–50,000; one documented 2025 liveaboard
account came to about IDR 275,000 per day plus a IDR 25,000 port fee. Those are reported figures,
not an official published tariff, they are paid in cash in rupiah on site, and the park authority can change
them at any time. Ask our reservations team for the current amounts before you travel.

What happens if the weather turns during our charter?
The captain adjusts the route, substituting sheltered sites for exposed ones. Between December and March this is more common, and southern sites are often skipped.
How far in advance should a group book?
For June to September, book one to two months ahead at minimum; large groups on specific dates should move earlier. April, May, October and November are easier and often cheaper.
